The New School Year Will Begin Online - August 13

On July 17, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that schools within counties that are on the state's COVID-19 monitoring list for more than 14 days must begin the school year with distance learning for students. Santa Barbara County has been on the state's COVID-19 monitoring list for more than 14 days.
SMBSD schools, and all schools in Santa Barbara County, will begin the new school year with students learning from home (distance, on-line), NOT in-person on school campuses.

We will provide more information to students and parents over the next few weeks.

The first day of school is August 13.
